We recently delivered a bespoke Flood Awareness & Flood Warden Training session for United Infrastructure, led by our Resilience Director Bryan Nelson and Resilience Consultant Saajeda Bandali.
The training was designed to go beyond generic flood awareness, focusing on practical flood preparedness, Flood Warden responsibilities and effective decision-making before, during and after a flood event.

Interactive discussions and realistic scenarios encouraged delegates to consider how flooding could affect their organisation, how conditions might develop and what actions they may need to take as Flood Wardens.

A key part of the training involved practical scenarios designed to challenge decision-making in a range of flood situations.
Scenario-based learning provided an opportunity for delegates to apply their knowledge in realistic situations and reinforced the importance of early action, effective communication and prioritising life safety.
