Flood Risk Assessments in Perth & Kinross, Scotland

The development site lies within the flood extent of a small watercourse therefore detailed analysis of the flood risk this watercourse poses was required. A hydraulic model was produced based on a topographic survey of the channel and floodplain. Hydrological analysis was undertaken to identify the catchment’s flows relevant to the development site using the latest Flood Estimation Handbook methods and best practice.

A report was prepared in line with Scottish Planning Policy and Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) guidance with appropriate mitigation measures recommended.
