RAB supports event organised by ‘Women in FCERM’

The ongoing lockdown has not stopped several of our RAB team from staying involved with the Women in FCERM initiative (https://womeninfcerm.org). The group was established several years ago to provide networking and support opportunities for women working in flood and coastal erosion risk management.

The Scottish branch of Women in FCERM recently hosted a virtual event focusing on leadership challenges for women in the sector. The event was attended by three of the RAB team including Fiona Cuthill, a Senior Resilience Advisor based at our Stirling office.

Feedback has been excellent, and Fiona commented: “the event was a great opportunity to connect with women in the FRM sector in Scotland, and I look forward to participating in future events and being part of this great community”.

Further events are planned over the coming months, addressing specific topics such as imposter syndrome, pregnancy, and mentoring. More information on Women in FCERM can be found on their media channels:
