RAB Provides Community Flood Resilience Advice

Several members of the RAB team have been in Ruislip this week supporting an event organised as part of the Environment Agency’s Property Flood Resilience (PFR) project.

The aim of the event was to educate the public on PFR and encourage ‘buy-in’ to the project. Central to the event was FloodMobile, an innovative mobile demonstration community outreach vehicle that has been designed to raise awareness of PFR and preventative measures that communities can adopt.

The FloodMobile vehicle has been touring at risk communities across the UK over past few months, allowing homeowners and businesses to see projective PFR measures, speak to experts, and better understand how they can protect their properties and land.

The event was a success, and we look forward to supporting this community and others over the coming months.
