RAB Deliver Emergency Response Plan for Iconic London Venue
The interim report published by the London Climate Resilience Review declared that London is “unprepared for the impact of climate change such as severe flooding and extreme heat”.
Robust and embedded emergency plans form a vital part of preparation for the impact of climate change and other risks.
Our team recently had the pleasure of heading to the renowned Borough Market, one of the largest and oldest food markets in London, as RAB were commissioned to prepare and integrate a new Emergency Response Plan. The main objective was to prepare the market for the range of interconnecting risks it faces. The headline image shows Borough Market CEO Jane, our Resilience Director Bryan, Borough Market Head of Development Shaun, and RAB Assistant Resilience Consultant Laura.
The work we are undertaking with Borough Market complements the work we do with other London Local Authorities, helping them to prepare for incidents affecting their communities and business operations.
Here at RAB we deliver a wide range of business continuity and emergency management services for both public and private sector organisations. More information is available on our website, or you can get in touch for an informal discussion on your specific project by email enquiries@rabconsultants.co.uk or call our head office in Lichfield on 01543 547303.
