RAB continues support for Circus Starr children’s charity

The team at RAB are always encouraged to support events that offer social value to the communities in which we work, live and play.

One particular organisation that we have supported since 2016 is Circus Starr, who run magical circus shows tailored specifically for children with additional needs or families in difficult circumstances. This includes children with disabilities, families on low incomes, those facing challenges such as domestic violence, bereavement or who may be living with a life-limiting condition.

To quote Circus Starr: “We bring all the fun of the circus to children and families that may have found this difficult in the past. Every child, whoever they are, is free to be themselves at a Circus Starr Show – shout with joy, move to the music or appear centre stage!”

RAB have provided tickets and sensory packs for children to attend the shows that are performed in the regions that our staff are located. Most recently this has included Milton Keynes and Tamworth, close to our Lichfield head office.

The idea to support Circus Starr came from one of our team who used to be a primary school teacher and saw the amazing benefits that children with additional needs got from live events such as theatre, dance, and performance based shows.
