RAB Supporting Move to Renewable Energy

The team at RAB have always been committed to finding solutions that sustainably improve the environment, indeed it is one of our core values (About Us).

We are therefore proud to have developed a strong reputation for providing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and hydraulic modelling for developers involved in new solar farm projects.

The latest of these is for a potential solar farm in Somerset in the SW of England. We completed a flood risk assessment and used hydraulic modelling to map potential flood depths for a range of scenarios. This has enabled the developer to unlock the maximum potential of the site while minimising risk.

We have a number of other clients and developers with similar projects, not only in the SW of England but across the UK. The teams at RAB will be working with them over the coming months to help get planning approval and ultimately provide sustainable and renewable energy sources.
