Free Places on Property Flood Resilience Training Course

RAB Consultants are delighted to announce the launch of a Property Flood Resilience (PFR) Foundation Course developed in conjunction with The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).

And we can now confirm that the Environment Agency (EA) are funding the first 100 places on a first come first served basis. There are some conditions to these free places including:

• Maximum of two delegates from individual businesses
• Businesses and organisations should be interested in becoming an EA framework provider
• Attendees must be committed to the technical training related to their role and progressing to become certified

The Foundation Course consists of 24 modules designed specifically for industry professionals already delivering PFR services and measures. The modules will provide specific technical training under each standard of the Code of Practice for Property Flood Resilience to upskill and align the industry on a unified approach to PFR delivery. Those completing the required training and demonstrating the relevant industry experience will be invited to apply to become a ‘Certified Professional’ in the delivery of flood resilience measures.

Our involvement as one of the key development and delivery partners is further testimony to the standing of RAB in the flood risk and resilience sectors. We are excited about delivering this course, and working with partners on developing other courses and training programs in the near future.
