What you will be doing:

Work as part of a team to solve problems, and help to develop solutions to a wide variety of client needs.
Support flood forecasting and warning projects.
Support flood mapping and modelling related projects.
Support wider emergency management projects including plans, procedures, training and exercising.
Support business change projects, including secondments, if required.

What you will need:

Experience in 1D/2D river modelling.
Experience in hydrological calculations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and confidence to plan work.
Competent in the use of relevant IT software.
Comfortable working in a remote team environment.
Ability and willingness to travel and support projects anywhere in the UK.
Good personal drive to succeed with a willingness to learn.
